Dr. Contreras is a Licensed Psychotherapist (PhD) and CEO of C3, specializing in chronic pain, trauma, and anxiety. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complex emotional and functional challenges that often follow injury, and major life stressors. With a strong clinical foundation and a practical, compassionate approach, she creates a space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.
Raised on the West Side of San Antonio, Dr. Contreras developed a deep understanding of the barriers many individuals face in accessing mental health care. This perspective continues to shape her commitment to reducing stigma and providing meaningful, accessible support to those in need.
Since 2019, Dr. Contreras has worked extensively with individuals experiencing chronic pain and the life disruptions that accompany it, including anxiety, trauma, and loss of identity. In addition to psychotherapy, she provides psychological evaluations for workers’ compensation and injury-related cases, delivering clear, timely reports that support treatment planning and recovery.
